Agreed. The money was a lot but it was average money for an average QB. But he hasn’t even been average and despite the talent on offense, we’re not really better off than we were last year.

And now the D is older and slower. It’s time to suck for a while. It’s been awhile since we’ve been top 5 pick bad but every franchise has those moments. The NFL is cyclical. We had a good run from 06-now. Time to change the guard, clean house and rebuild for the next 3-4 years. Stockpile talent, hold onto picks and hope Ireland can hit on more picks than he has of late
