Thanks Nurse. Im just lonesome. Most of my old fishing and hunting friends have died or can’t do anything anymore. Luckily even with my pains I get around pretty good.


I really need to find a “ good “ lady friend. But it is challenging. I don’t put myself in social circles where I meet them.

The last time I ate a meal with someone was with Armymann50 about two years ago We rode the Waverunner’s to some hamburger place in the swamp.

Might go ride down to Golden Meadow / Fourchon / Grand Isle today to look up some folks. Thanks again.

not to make you feel even older, because I am not a spring chicken myself, but this is the case for my elderly father. He is 82 and widowed twice now. he found a local group of ppl in his age group who play ping pong, of all things, every Mon-Wed-Fri and that and church are his only social outlets.

I'd love to move out of West tn, but I'd never leave my dad.

I think this is one of the components of the loneliness epidemic. The loss of social and civic organizations that used to draw people together.
