give her more credit than that, she is not involved and lets face it, she wouldnt be a good judge of where and how to take action.

but she needs someone from completely outside this organization to give her true facts about things.

if she had that she could bring someone in with no connections or loyalties and start handing out pink slips.

think about it from gayles perspective, she just wants to keep the team here as long as she is alive. thats toms legacy she wants to protect here.

she doesnt know how to run a team, so if she fired them she would be lost

she has to hire someone who does know the game so they can replace them for her
