Calling defenses is different than calling offenses. One is ALOT more reactive than the other.
Also, I don't think encouragement is the issue with the defense. Unless he brings talent with him from the press box to the field that move isn't THE fix.
Players need to get lined up correctly; that's 100% on them.
They need to take better angles, they need to wrap up and stop going for the hit and/or strip, they need to be play the area in their zone and not a person in the zone. None of that gets fixed with House on the sidelines.

totally disagree. the problem with the dbs in zone coverage is that the dbs DO NOT cover the receiver in their zone area, they cover the grass in the zone. Just the opposite of what you propose.
How many time have we seen receivers catch passes standing still with 3 defenders completely around him guarding grass. Let one cover grass and another guard cover closely anyone in the zone area. Otherwise nothing is going to change.

Everyone could see the D-Line was too far off the ball. Even drunk arse Tee-Bob could see it after 9 shots of whiskey. How he couldn’t see it from up there is beyond me.
