When I was at LSU, I approached Jerry Tarkanian for an autograph before an LSU-UNLV game. He waved me off and said “get lost, kid”…to which I rather loudly responded by calling him an a-hole. He turned and looked at me like he couldn’t believe I’d said that.
It’s ok…Tark got his that day. Ricky Blanton beat him 88-87 with a trey from the corner at the buzzer.
