The way out is through.

Depression sucks. Those that haven't been through it don't really understand it, although many really do want to help.

Seeking professional help is good. I'd suggest to continue to do that. If it leads down the path of suicidal ideation, then you might actually need inpatient as someone else suggested.

Try for small victories. Just get up and make the bed. Try to build from small things. There's been periods where I've been through something similar and it is very hard to find the motivation to do anything.

Just don't give up yet. You can always give up tomorrow, just not today. Hang in there OP.
