re: I'm Not Qualified to Cook at Waffle House

When I was out of college in 2009 and the job market was shite I almost interviewed to be a Waffle House manager. I think those cooks are often times the manager. The manager works 6 days in a row and gets 2 days off. There’s a GM over 3 stores that also works 6 on 2 off, he moves between the 3 stores to work the days the store manager is off.

So Waffle House can bitch about employees but their scheduling is shite. That’s a horrible work life balance.
