That's where these Student Loan income based plans are going to wreck some people that don't understand their finances.
"Low income" earners are paying $0 a month under Bidens new plan, and interest is a accruing the entire time with hopes politicians don't get rid of the 20 year forgiveness program. Knowing our politicians they're gonna ditch the 20 year forgiveness program by the time people reach the 20 year mark and their debt is going to be insurmountable.

Imagine just nonchalantly carrying tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands in 20 years with interest, in debt on your credit for 20 years making no payments towards it.
