He is just not very gifted. Seems to be a hard worker, leader, and knows the defense, but he’s stiff as a board and gets worked over several times a game.

There's a reason why Kelly's praise of Burns after fall camp was about how he's a vocal leader. Not about his actual playmaking ability.
