Oh Loranger--previously an A rated school. Gone to crap along with the rest of Tangipahoa Parish School System---a failed system by any objective measure.
TPSS scored 64.2 in the latest performance scoring. That is a "C" in the world of educational bureaucracy.
East Baton Rouge scored a 66.5 and Orleans a 66.6.
Loranger High scored a 73.1, the middle school a 62.6 and the elementary a 62.1.
They spend more than ever per student.
Piss poor management and the quality of some of these teachers reflect that.---everybody looking to get the most out of their drop check.
BTW--they passed a new tax supposedly for teacher pay increases and built a new locker room for the football team in Loranger. If they ran the budget right and controlled their spending they could pay teachers as much as anyone in the state without the new tax.

Was it last year or the year before the principal and the basketball coach got in a fist fight during school hours on campus in Loranger?
