The NFL might take him seriously if he had been willing to at least try to play in CFL, AAF, USFL, XFL, LFA, Spring League, or even one of the various indoor leagues but every time all of those leagues have reached out he's had crazy contract demands that caused them to immediately hang up the phone. He hasn't played in 7 years at this point. There is no way in hell he could be of value to a team anymore.

After seeing how Deshaun Watson fell off after sitting out one season, it seems rather silly to think any QB could not play for 7 years and contribute
