This is going to sound like a typical OT troll but I mean this with all of my heart. Right now is when he needs to learn that daddy doesn't frick around or make exceptions. Maybe mommy does constantly, but he needs to know that daddy does not. Sleeping, eating, whatever. Daddy runs this bitch. If you wait until he's older to establish this, it will be much much harder on your whole family. Do this now. And if he cries, he cries. But someday he'll be a better father for it all. You have to think long term, which is hard as a young parent when you are thinking short term.
