I have been in your shoes. Lost, confused, miserable, and weary. Paralyzed by continuous loneliness with no end in sight. I was an emotional wreck. I did not trust myself to rise above my situation. So, I began to pray for God’s help to get through each day. I prayed for His help to fall asleep. I prayed and prayed some more. The best thing I ever did was to make the decision to trust God to intervene and save me. I read the Psalms and listened to Christian music and sermons on the radio (this was before YouTube which is an absolute treasure trove of music and sermons). I immersed myself in the Lord. And I exercised. It was neither easy nor a quick fix. But, I kept at it. Then, one day, I noticed that I was beginning to heal and the trials of life became easier to deal with. Windows of opportunity began to open. The bottom line is that God loves and values me and you. Keep reaching out to Him and trust Him to heal you. Don’t give up on Him. He won’t give up on you.
