K-pop boy band. They first blew up in the U.S. about 6 years ago. So, ask any girl in her lower 20’s, and they’re probably a fan. They also have gotten more than a few of their songs into big tv commercials and tv shows. The college-aged people I know pretty much exclusively listen to either alt-country like Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll or to K-pop music like BTS and Blackpink.
My 50 year old wife is a BTS fan. Her and a girlfriend went to Vegas last year for one of their shows.
