Power 5 teams are majority black players these days
The only thing that hasn't caught up is head coaches
Sanders is paving the way for those minority coaches for the future while Mich St coach Mel Tucker did the opposite
Some of these coaches need to look at what Sanders did, he used the HBCU as a springboard to this level
So many coordinators have been passed over so maybe this is an avenue for those coaches to get their experience with less pressure. Isn't Eddie George still coaching at a HBCU? Maybe he's the next one that gets a shot like Deion got.
