Find a new place to work. You have a manager up the chain who is crazy.
25 years ago I worked at a place who had a dickhead as a manager. He was Jewish and had a PHD so he thought very highly of himself.
For Christmas lunch celebration day he told people they couldn’t start heating up food until the actual lunch break time started.

At one point he also had the admin start going around with a roster in a clip board every morning to check who was at their desk at 7:00AM, which was our arrivals time.
