It's 1/4 mile now I'm pretty sure and they don't enforce it. I'm pretty sure making it 1 mile won't do shite. You can go kn Marine Finder and see thier boats right off of Fourchon Beach.

Go to vessel tracker and all the dark gray arrows are pogie boats....they're is currently 11 of them between South Marsh Island and the mouth of the Atchafalya river

they are all in a straight line moving East at 11 knots...must be heading back to Mississippi to offload
