I enjoy being challenged and I enjoy "competition" so there's that but I've always viewed work a little differently. Through the years it's meant being patient, passing on promotions, being bold to tell superiors I thought they were wrong and believing fully in certain processes but it's been rewarding and challenging.

I think you've found the balance in all of it. Most people don't find that, or perhaps even realize it is something of value.
