which team had a worse year? Georgia or LSU?

LSU starts year as defending national champions, ranked in the top 10. Played 3 qbs that obviously weren't either SEC quality or ready for action. New DC with new backfield.

or

Georgia starts as preseason No. 1 with best qb and rb in SEC. Established DC with talent galore.

Georgia gave up 21 to Georgia Southern, 41 to Alabama, 38 to LSU, 49 to Florida, 38 to Kentucky, 13 to a pitiful AU offensive team and 45 to Georgia Tech. They gave up 38 points or more in 5 of their 12 games.

Why is no one in the national media questioning Richt's coaching ability? Why arent they "on a downward spiral"?

What has Richt accomplished at Georgia that makes him any better than Miles?

Just asking. At times, I think Miles is an F'n goofball but, I am just trying to put this year into some kind of perspective.

Good question, I thought the same thing watching UGA. UGA was blown out of the water by UF and Bama, and humiliated by their in-state rival.

Still, I think LSU has a worse season, UGA is at least relevant and will be playing in a respectable bowl game against a team from a BCS conference. LSU lost to the worst team in the SEC with a losing record.

Who had the "worst" year between: LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, or Georgia. The key is you define "worst."

I think Tennessee, they are basically starting from scratch at this point.

UGA had a bunch of major injuries early on. But their season has still been more disappointing I think.

looking at it objectively I feel like we did almost as expected, most figured 9-3. UGA is prolly the most disappointing if you ask me. Even though head to head doesn't necessarily show it, I believe we are better than Arky, Miss st, Auburn, Kentucky, Vandy, SC and UT and about even with ole miss. I know I stand a chance at getting flamed since ole miss and arky beat us but this is my opinion.

UGA was supposed to win the east and MNC
Auburn was supposed to win the west

I would say those were the two biggest disappointments, the just plain bad award would have to go to UT.

True that UGA and Auburn proved to be the most overrated, in terms of expectations vs. results, espescailly Auburn. But Tenn is a proud team with a proud tradition that fired it's patriarch and is really in shambles a year removed from the SECCG.
