Yeah, he calls a solid offense considering how bad the OL is...until you get into the redzone. Saints scoring is absolutely atrocious. They can move the ball easily even with a bad OL but they can't punch it in. This is not really surprising though as it has been a negative on Carr's entire career but you have to look at the what foggy glasses Pete is calling and the personnel he's using too.
No, it was not a good game he called.

Unfortunetly many posters from tRant have now infested Saints Talk.
Over on tRant / LSU Score Board, the only people ever at fault are the starting QB and the offensive / defensive playcallers.
Everyone - the entire defense, the stadium, everyone watching on tv, thought they would run the ball on that third and two. Carmichael got cute and took a chance, unfortunetly, our OL is having trouble protecting on that tyoe of plat at this time.
Our offense is still struggling with timing, and with working together. That's what happens when you basically skip preseason games. They will get better.

And he needs to be mobile
Carr is not a mobile QB.
So either we need to replace the QB or replace the OL.
This is the NFL, you can only scheme for so much to cover physical limitations.

I want to see them taking shots down field early and often against GB. From snap 1.
So plays that take a while to develop?
Better get better OL protection this week.
