It certainly does not, but they are more than happy to allow diverse taxpayers in the US foot the bill while they take those same diverse taxpayers to task for not having the same quality of life that they have in their nation. Then, in the ultimate display of ignorance, many Americans fricking agree with them and blame the fact that we do not live as good on the fact that we have a diverse nation, not that we spend an inordinate amount of OUR money making sure the world is sort of safe and stable....it is the height of arrogance combined with ignorance. If you have never lived in Europe you will never comprehend exactly how far down the nose they view the economic engine that keeps them afloat...and when you come home and hear people blaming the gap between the US and Europe on AMERICANS and DIVERSITY it is the most insulting thing one can imagine...yes, we have issues in the US. Yes, we have a diverse nation. And yes, that diverse nation makes it fricking possible for every swinging dick on the planet, friend and foe alike, to sleep at night knowing the planet is relatively safe and secure. There has never been a nation as diverse as the US which has done as much for the rest of the world and yes, it is the diversity of the US that makes it fricking possible because ALL americans contribute, not just white Americans.
