That's exactly why having that kind of money—especially when you made it by doing something frivolous like entertaining—is not good for people's mental and emotional health. Studies indicate that it's extremely common for people in that position to vastly overestimate their talent/intelligence/ability, to start believing that they are fundamentally better than "average people," and that the lack of financial consequences for their decisions (even terrible ones) starts to lead them to believe that they will experience no significant negative consequences for any decisions made about any aspect of their lives (health, relationships, etc.). It basically wrecks people's character.

Ive never met Costner, but by many accounts here in this thread alone, he seems like a decent guy.. and he SEEMS well adjusted, though of course no one knows for sure about someone they dont actually know .

That's why these really rich movie stars think they need to lecture everyone else on political topics like Climate Change,

Not touching that, but im guessing u spend an inordinate amount of time on the PoliBoard .

It's why Michael Jackson kept having plastic surgery until his face started having rouble holding together without sliding off his skull and why he kept diddling little kids even after he had been caught multiple times.

Michael Jackson is maybe THE most famous person to walk the planet in the last 100 years, if not then he is in the conversation with only a handful of other humans .. you cant compare that type of fame to anyone who’s been a movie star or musician or artist who isn’t THAT ridiculously famous .

It's why so many of them end up lonely and addicted to something. And some of them end up killing themselves.

Have you seen the statistics on loneliness in America in 2023 in the general population ? And the addiction stats ?? Meth alone is an epidemic in flyover country and everywhere… zero to do with celebrity .

Also not sure if you mentioned it or if i missed it in ur lengthy diatribe- but the divorce rate in America last i checked hovers around 50%, again zero to do with celebrity … your post just kinda doesnt make sense on any level .
