Pretty much true and that's why most railroad employees will not be voting for the current president.

This is one side of the argument and its usually from those that always had a union job. They take it for granted. The longer someone has been employed with the railroad, the more they seem to think they can do better without a union. They may brag about having 30 years with the railroad. Well, ask another guy with only a few years with the railroad, but over 30 years in the workforce with no union representation before that, and you will hear how grateful they are to have a union.

ETA: Also, what they dont realize is their union dues are pennies compared to the pay cut they would take without a union.
