Humans are slobs. This is normal.
NO ITS NOT NORMAL. Normal by today’s standards, which isn’t saying much, but not by historical standards its not.
I remember my first plane flight in the mid 70’s and air travel was not remotely like it is today. People not only knew how to put clothes on, but they also dressed with pride and class, even people who weren’t necessarily professional or white collar. You saw the same thing walking down third street on the weekend. Women dressed in dresses, men in suits and hats, and people cared what they looked like. Today, I mean, I don’t even know what to say about it. Women wearing leggings, showing everything they’ve got, advertising they are open for business, men wearing slippers and pants without belts. Trust me on this. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. It’s anything but for any other generation of Americans who would look at us like we were from outer space.
