Bump because I got the first bill and had a good laugh. Anyone want to guess how much a single vaccine dose and 1400 IU of immune globulin costs at the ER? $36k before insurance. 
Thankfully I'm only on the hook for about $1500 from that first visit. Looking like each subsequent shot will be about $500 out of pocket. Oh well. Beats getting rabies.
I have one more shot to go. The third one hit hard and had me down for the count over the weekend. Aches, spins, & nausea. They told me the second and third ones are usually the worst as far as immune responses go. Hoping the forth goes well this weekend.
