Are yall hearing about the issues with student tickets? Freshmen received an email that the would be allowed to purchase tickets at 9 this morning. People went to the website where they had the tickets divided into two packages and then they could buy 1 ticket to the A&M game as a separate option. Many people clicked on both packages and the A&M ticket and checked out their purchases, bank accounts were charged, then they received an email saying that they could only select one package and that that their purchase was removed. So no tickets now show up in their account and the website wont let them buy anything. Students and parents are losing their minds. Ticket office is hanging up on people if you can get through at all. Supposedly they made the change so more people could get some tickets since they have so many more freshmen this year. Its a mess right now. Way to go LSU, screwing everything up.
They had to split freshman tickets into packages in 2008 after we won the NC. I mean if they made it clear that you could only select one package, they shouldn't have been greedy and try to game the system

They didn't tell inform the students that they could only buy one package until after they had bought both. Even still they should have controls to prevent them from buying both if they can only get one.
