ESPN live draft question.

I run a keeper league and on ESPN.com you’re forced to draft a kicker or defense. I don’t want teams to be forced to draft one because they might prefer another sleeper flex guy with their potential keeper picks. However, K & Defense are roster spots.
Is there a way around this?

i would think you can go to your league's settings & change this

It was not an issue when we did league drafts in person and then I added all the players after the fact. They force you to draft these positions tho. I just asked their support Bot or whatever.
I think I am going to add a round to the draft but then get rid of the IR slot to keep the rosters not too big.

Just get rid of the kicker position. We did this on espn years ago and added a WR/TE flex spot
