because the democrat vote is assured even if hitler was on the ballot

they wait until very late and the opposition has to switch gears at the last minute and attack a different person. they will wait until 3-4 months before the election to announce biden is stepping down. then anyone they put in will have nothing bad said about them until a few weeks before the election
