LSU 40 Washington 14 in second game of '83, my Soph year.
Tiger Stadium record crowd over 83,000 - people actually sitting in the aisles. Washington was pretty good but LSU destroyed them.
LSU had lost its '83 opener vs ranked Florida State 40-35 after going up 14-0 in the first quarter; but after the '82 season, there was still a lot of optimism for 1983.
