Played it yesterday and enjoyed it.

Noticed they cleared a lot of trees out around the greens (most noticeably on 2) and for not receiving rain all summer I thought the course was in solid shape.

I will say I’m sure the GPS is built into the green fee, but now that every golf group has a range finder, it just seemed like an unnecessary expense that’s passed onto the player.

It isn't about the distances for players. It is about having an AI Marshall. Track times players are playing and keep them off green surrounds and on paths for cart path only.

The GPS was much needed . People simply do not know how to act right on a golf course. They drove all around the greens and tee boxes . At least they get shut down now. It was sickening to see people drive all over the place . Some people have zero clue when they are on a golf course or they simply don't care. Most simply don't care but expect Augusta National conditions when they play.
