Any suggestions for tailgating at Missouri? It looks like all the parking is in garages and the RV lot is sold out.

Well if you are going atleast 10mph above the speed limit you won't have to worry about it.

I lived in Columbia for 5 yrs and there aren’t great options for tailgating for the visiting team. If you don’t have a parking pass, really the only public parking tailgating for larger parties will be at Truman’s Landing. That appears to now be a public RV lot. Not sure if you can reserve a spot or if it’s first come/first served.
The best option to get out quick is to park on the shoulder of Stadium or Providence. Some tailgate in the grass off the shoulder.
The best option in COMO as they call it, is to park near downtown and enjoy different spots in downtown prior to kickoff.
Flat Branch, Harpo’s, The Fieldhouse and Shiloh were some of the notable places I recall. Shiloh was a big alumni bar. Downtown is north of campus and the stadium in south, so you can stroll through campus on the way to the stadium.

Downtown area flows into campus. To tailgate you have to have an annual parking pass which is hard to get even if you are a season ticket holder. As a visitor it is probably best to just park downtown and just enjoy the downtown area and make your way to the stadium and mix in with the die hard mizzou fans in the reserved parking lots. They just opened up a walkons in columbia but it is no where near the stadium. Also if you are looking for a a decent hotel jeff city is an option it is about 30-45 minutes from columbia.
