Love that you mentioned Banana Blossom. That place is amazing. Not as fancy/upscale as everything else, but still great food.
GW Fins' Scalibut may be my favorite dish in NOLA. GW Fins also has some amazing appetizers (lobster dumplings, spicy tuna tacos)
