More fanbases in general are going to stop watching altogether. I think college football will start losing the diehards because of all of the radical changes, and they think they can get enough casual viewership in the Northeast to make up for it. I don't. Nothing will make that region of the country care about college football.

I'm sure the ratings for a new superleague would be great for a year or two until the newness wears off, and then college football fans will want their rivalry games back that are being taken away. The ratings for the AAF fell off a cliff after their first week because the novelty wore off.

I would MUCH rather see Georgia play Georgia Tech and South Carolina every year than Penn State and Texas, for example. No history there. No rivalry. It would be just another date on the calendar.
