I think LSU was the big early lead until his Jr year when Sark & staff started making big inroads with DFW recruiting, it was a major problem under Tom Herman.

I don't think Texas pulled even until this spring if not early summer. There is no way Texas is even in the final mix if not for the growing number of DFW 4/5*'s accumulating in Austin, the SEC move and NIL. Don't be surprised if his little brother who has autism doesn't come out as the point of demarcation/tipping of the scales.

However this goes get used to this, LSU & Texas are going to be head to head on a lot of big name recruits moving forward.
