Has anyone stayed at a Riu palace resort in Cancun? If so, how was it?

Years ago, its a party resort restaurants below par from other nice inclusives

I stayed at the Rui Palace in Playacar about 10 years ago. It was very nice. Maybe it's changed a lot, but there wasn't a party vibe at all then. Yes, there are fancier resorts. But it wasn't at all bad. Secrets Excellence is nicer, but the rest weren't.

Multiple times. RIU resorts are top notch imo. If I travel to Cancun they are my first choice
