Tipping a caterer

How much to tip a caterer for an event? 15% or 20% like usual or do you even tip?

Tip what you want to. I would probably do 20%, but double check that there isn't some form of gratuity already added.

Why can’t they just adjust the cost of services to the food? Why put that burden on the customers who has to grab some random numbers out of thin air to avoid the awkwardness?
