Freaking unbelievable that after the last two and one half years there are still folks who would say they'd sit out the next election if Trump is the nominee.
Stupid people don't know they're stupid, in fact they typically think they are astute, discerning, and intelligent!
I'd say it's sad but it isn't sad, it is pathetic.
That's why IMHO a Dem POTUS is highly likely to be put in office next POTUS election - WAY too much division on the side of the "GOP Base".
IMHO the "GOP Base" has been effectively destroyed, politically speaking. It is so fractured that it won't be able to win a general election for POTUS against ANY Dem candidate. That's why the OP and the topic of the thread is very good food for thought - because it does seem to be true - and no matter how bad things get or stay until Nov 2024, it seems like it will be the case.
No matter who the GOP nominee is, there will be a huge contingent of the base that will sit at home because they refuse to cast a vote for Pence, or DeSantis, or Trump.
Me, for example, I won't vote for Pence - well, maybe I will, if he is the GOP nominee, but I prefer Trump or DeSantis.
