Does Bates have any effect on what Wardell is gonna do?
I'm not asking if Wardell is gonna be afraid to come here with Bates on board. What I am asking is did we bump up our NIL offer knowing that Wardell is going elsewhere?

Bates will not effect Mack.
Mack is a top-20 recruit, nationally. Will be the best DB prospect in our class, with or without Bates (if we get him).
In addition to his incredible physical skillset, Mack’s positional versatility (CB-S-Nickel) separates him from other DB prospects, IMO.
Just my gut instinct, but I love our chances of landing both Bates & Mack.
