One of the easiest questions to give an answer to and I'm going to give you several reasons that compound on each other.
- didn't do anything his first year at bama because of injury and being behind many WRs
- was still dealing with injury during our spring practice time so out of sight, out of mind
- Kyren Lacy became "that dude" in the spring game and he was just forgotten about as a possible starter
- people still think Chris Hilton, if healthy, has elite ability to not only be our speed option, but the #4 WR. We know they aren't exactly the same, but who would feel would start first, the one who has experience at this level, and has already played with the QB, or the newcomer who we haven't even seen in practice?
From the way they talk, he's definitely going to be on the field in some capacity on offense though. Will likely be in the 5 man rotation at worst.

If he gets healthy enough to be PR/KR that is a huge win for us. I kind of wrote him off for 2023. I want him to take his time coming back and make sure he's not only healed, but has confidence in his body to have the agility and burst he became a prized recruit for.
