By this logic, Jacksonville public golf is relatively poor. But also Ponte Vedra (Sawgrass) / St. Johns / St. Augustine golf (World Golf Village) is great.

"Houston golf" is pretty limiting. Thankfully Memorial Park is in city borders (even though you have to reserve a tee time 3 weeks out). But The Woodlands golf and Sugarland golf are great. Same with Birmingham, Memphis, Nashville, etc.

Though, I do agree that I wish we had one or two more nice public courses in or just outside Baton Rouge city limits.

We have them. You pay taxes on them. They aren’t maintained or kept up properly. That’s my gripe, and from what I gather most peoples.
