And in those years, women didn't care about LSU.

No, you're proving the old adage about how it's better to remain quiet, whether literally or virtually, than to open your mouth (or in this case, your keyboard) and remove all doubt.

There are plenty of women who are and throughout many years always have been rabid LSU fans. My experience speaks from, even as a child, a little before, and throughout the Chollie Mac era, (remember Bo R, whose plane tragically went down on a recruiting run before he ever coached a game in Tigah Stadium?), the mediocrity of the sentimental Stovall hire, the promise of Arnsbarger (who only used LSU as a stepping stone), the misfire hire of a too young Archer down on through the dreadfulness of the Hallman and DiNardo dayz of infamy.

My first date with my spouse with whom I just celebrated our 35th anniversary? My 18th birthday in Tigah Stadium. Bert Jones' coming out party, November 20, 1971, my sophomore year, LSU 28 Notre Dame 7 (and that was a consolation prize late in the game).

There were ladies aplenty cheering on LSU at every game I've ever attended in Death Valley and considering a cadre of family and friends are keeping our season tickets warm in our temporary exile, that's a considerable number of games throughout the last 30 years, the good times and the downright ugly times.

No matter what, we ARE LSU, no matter the gender, you presumptive neanderthal.

You have me cracking up over here! Thanks I needed the laugh. I can just picture you over there fuming and pecking away, fast as can be, at those keys on the keyboard.
