Yes. Kinda.
It'd be cool if they did, but I don't see it happening. I think individual schools could make note of some of this when talking season/ career records.
For example:
- Kevin Faulk ran for 200 or so as a freshman in the Indy Bowl, giving him 1000 for the season (and 4 straight 1000 yd seasons). Fournette went over 1,000 in his bowl game and a big deal was made about him being the first, but Faulk did it before him.
- Josh Reed had 239 yards receiving (and 2 of Ro's TDs) that would put him tops in single season receiving yards. Chase has that record, but his bowl/ CFP stats are included.
- Ro threw for 444 in the Sugar
