re: Texas insiders reporting a decision for Dominick McKinley before his senior year

McKinley has said he wants it to be a surprise. If lsu were the leaders publicly, then I’d be worried. He’s tight lipped about his recruitment for a reason. Seems like a down to earth kid who will want to be closer to his family. Also, McKinley camped at LSU last year with a WR named Russell Babineaux who also plays at Acadiana (he will be at the splash). Babineaux left with an offer and McKinley didn’t. Might be one of those “if I wasn’t good enough for you then” scenarios. But at that time McKinley hadn’t played much Varsity ball because he was a sophomore behind 2 very good senior DE’s. At this point, who knows what he will do. I’m hoping he ends up in the purple and gold with his WR Wreckin ram teammate. Acadiana isn’t known for its wide receivers. He’s 5’8”, so he must have absolutely balled out at that camp.

He wants to surprise everyone that’s what his Dad told me earlier in the week but he has decided on his school just waiting to announce
