The entire premise of “gaslighting“ is a desire to make another person believe that she is going insane. in your view, who in American politics is trying to make other people believe that they are insane? Why? What is the political benefit of causing a voter to believe that he is insane?

they are misleading, in some cases intentionally so. But where is the insanity element?

Gaslighting is an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control. Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information ...

Can it lead to insanity? You bet, if concentrated enough. To get someone to go insane, doesn't there need to be psychological manipulation involved. Just because they are not successful in making Americans insane does not mean they are not using the tactics of gaslighting sir.

This battle flag is materially and factually incorrect. "Trans women" are mentally-ill men who cannot function in modern society because their brain chemistry is more fricked up than a football bat due to not knowing which bathroom to use.

AggieHank... doing it right now, and often for years.

Every time you've downplayed some issue, called it overstated', 'out of context' or 'misunderstood' -- you've been a willing agent.

If they person questions their memory or sanity later, you've done your job.
