Palmer's actual voting record does not support your comments.

Senate is a different beast. You saw what the GOP did to Brooks...twice. If Palmer isn't playing ball, it will go the same way for him.

Brooks wasn't a good Senate candidate and his statement re moving on killed him the last time. As I recall, Brooks was up a good bit until Trump pulled his support.

Palmer might not be able to beat one of them, but I'd like to see that option vs the others who have run. Tubs is ok, Britt is awful. Alabama could do better, but I have little confidence that things will change. I expect Ainsworth will be the next Gov, (former DEM) AG Marshall will win whatever he runs for (unless it is Gov), Britt will get re-elected... Montgomery is a cesspool ... from the city to the state mafia that run the state gov't.

Alabama voters have been consistently bad. One Governor went to jail, another resigned ... then the anti-education, close down small businesses during Covid Gov, Kay Ivey won again... then a lobbyist (Britt) got elected to the U.S. Senate. Palmer would be a welcomed change, as would Tommy Battle as Governor.
