That's your answer. Nobody else makes their kids do shite. Navy parents were all about the FOD in the kitchen, etc. :D

But seriously, most kids don't do FA (Brit usage). Women want harmony. Men want happy women. Kids do what they want.

Nobody has to smack their kids to teach them to be polite and respectful.

ETA: Just ask them to be responsible, from a young age, and they'll... be responsible.
