My buddy actually caught what should be the Louisiana State Record Speck there many years ago, close to right there right before Hurricane Wilma I think. Almost 13 pounds and was weighed on certified scale etc, but an idiot worker threw it out of freezer after the storm or some shite, so it didn’t count. Anyway, used to be some monster trout there
