I am just saying there is a difference between an opinion column and a news article. News articles, believe it or not, actually have standards to adhere to, by law.
Opinion columns have almost no standards besides basic decency and profanity. . .and there is tremendous latitude there, as well.
In sports terms:
Editorials are the coaches
Articles are the starters
Letters to the editor are the walk-ons
Opinion columns are the preferred walk-ons
Again, these are just how I see things. It is just someone giving their opinion. . .and this one is reeeeeeally dumb.
