Admit you yourself have made mistakes and take responsibility! Be accountable. Sure we lost Perriloux early on but come on. Jarret Lee doesn't even compare to the dual threat posed by
Jordan Jefferson. Where would we be at this point in the season if Jefferson would have played early on. The O line sucked yesterday the d line sucked, no aggression. From national champs to national chumps and out of the top 25 ranking for the first time in many a year. Remember Miles pride cometh before the fall.

Not real sure what that would do at this point. It sure as hell would not take the 4 losses back. If this were mid-season, it would be one thing, but with one game left in the regular season and a bad bowl coming up, I seriously doubt Miles begging the fans to kiss his arse will help a damn thing...just sayin'

In hindsight, I certainly can understand the argument that it would have been better for us moving forward if Jefferson had received the snaps that Lee did.
However, at the time, I would have made the exact same decision. The season wasn't a lost cause. We had a ton of reason to think that we could compete, improve, and maybe even become a VERY dangerous team.
Jefferson, even this late in the season, is a liability despite his talent because of his inexperience and lack of practice time. Games like Auburn and SC would have been much tougher to win.
Moving forward, I'd start and play Jefferson the majority of the snaps in the hope that he's on a level playing field when competing for the job in the spring.

A leader shares credit — and shoulders blame. Les, you really need to shoulder some blame, publicly, for the consistently awful play this year. Sorry, dude, but it comes with the $4 mil per year salary.
And FWIW, I'm a Miles fan.

Won't change a damn thing other than to make YOU feel better about the season.

Back to my original premise: A leader share credit—and shoulders blame. Acting on this premise WOULD change a lot in terms of public perception, and also heading off some of the team factions we're hearing about. The focus shifts to one individual instead of the finger pointing we're seeing now. From my experience in the corporate world, publicly shouldering responsibility DOES make a difference in morale, unity and the resolve to improve a situation. It does indeed help.
