My apologies, I didn't mean to imply that you were the extreme pro of the topic. Most probably conflate that because of you being the most common poster.

I agree with you in a lot of your responses. My experiences do not reflect the divide you speak of in SWLA between AA/AAA in 9's. There could almost be sub-divisions and that's probably due to the lack of suitable rec leagues. We have played up an age division by the time spring rolls around in the time we have been doing this

no need to apologize, i was speaking of other posters and agreeing with you

im considered extreme for not being anti competitive sports

i also think a ton of the anti rhetoric you see comes from not being around it and believing stereo types and also alot of it comes from people who cant afford it and are pissed because their kids get left behind

i feel for those and maybe kids sports have gotten too competitive but when the big 5a powers in louisiana only take 9-10 kids max each year, you are going to see things become more competitive.

its not just baseball that is like this. soccer is same way, basketball.....even cheerleading and danceline are line that. its extremely competitive.

academics in the AP classes....much the same way. GPA of the top of the class continue to climb at the really good schools. the world has become a stupid competitive place at younger and younger ages.

facts are its not 1992 anymore just like things had changed from 1963 to 1993, same as 1993 to present day. things evolve. you either learn to be successful within these new changes or you get left behind. i dont have to like it to acknowledge it either.
